Women’s Clay Play Therapy

Because your body remembers—and it’s ready to let go.

Clay-Play Therapy is an eclectic blend of person-centred art therapy, embodiment (somatic healing) principles and neuroscience-based mentoring.

This style of therapy provides women the opportunity to break free of generational trauma and create an abundant and vibrant life!

It is a person-centred approach where you are honoured as the expert of you. Clay Play helps to access the memories stored in the body - often without having to talk about them - allowing your body to release what has been stuck.

Why Clay Play therapy?

Over the years, trauma builds up in our body as tension and with safety and guidance, we can find these places of ‘stuckness’ and provide a pathway for release.

A space for Women in the Surf Coast to come home to yourself—through touch, creativity, and release.

As women, we carry so much. Sometimes it lives in our thoughts. It always lives in our bodies.

Stored tension & trauma in a woman’s life show up in many ways.

    • Person-centred art therapy

    • Somatic (body-based) emotional processing

    • Neuroscience-informed guidance

With safety, care, and curiosity, you’ll begin to soften the tension that’s built up over time—whether it’s emotional fatigue, physical discomfort, or patterns like perfectionism, people-pleasing, or disconnection from joy.

    • Anxiety, overwhelm, or chronic fatigue

    • Feeling emotionally numb or “stuck”

    • Physical tension in the neck, shoulders, or womb

    • A longing to reconnect with creativity and inner peace

Sessions are tailored to your needs and can take place indoors, outdoors, or in nature depending on your comfort. The clay becomes a mirror—one that reflects where you’ve been and where you’re ready to go next.

  • We aim to make our sessions as accessible as possible for families. Fees are structured to reflect the depth of support, time, and facilitation provided.

Meet Caz

Meet Caz Rieniets art therapist. mother, somatic practise therapist

Caz is an artist, a wife, and a mother of two almost‑adults, who has learned to navigate life through the wisdom of the body. On her own healing journey, she discovered that talk therapy could only take her so far. After years of relying on her head to get through life’s challenges, she found deeper transformation through body‑based modalities that gently release stored tension and restore balance.

Caz now brings this rich tapestry of training in art therapy, somatic practices, and creative approaches to her work with others. Her sessions are designed to feel safe, curious, and often playful—because healing doesn’t have to hurt. Life brings many challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. Let Caz walk with you on your journey back to joy, freedom and a sense of wholeness.
